History
The game starts in a new region, ingaharanwhere strange things begin to happen, but not only that, because you, as the main character, will have to recover your memories throughout the adventure. You start in a small village, when a trainer finds you in the middle of the forest.
From there you begin to investigate some strange occurrences, such as a virus that affects the pokémon. Some of them recover, but the virus always leaves after-effects on them, modifying some of the pokémon's characteristics. You, along with two siblings, will have to travel through the new region investigating these events that are affecting pokémon so much. Together with an eevee, you will live an adventure in a different world, with dark stories and new evil teams.
New Maps and Mysteries
As I said, the history and mapping gameplay is the best thing about it, even though the new and modified pokémon are not left behind either. Everything has a lore within the story, so we will see many differences with other pokémon fangames available.
Currently the game has three gyms availableAt least that's what I've been able to find out and what some of you have told me on twitch. The game is a beta, but it gives enough time to play, especially for the story that the characters tell us. This is one of the best points of the game, as we can enjoy a good experience while enjoying their fights.
Graphics and News
Now let's comment on some more technical aspects of pokémon atlas, because I assure you that it is one of the most elaborate and different that I have been able to play. The graphics seem to me excellentboth exterior and interior. They perfectly accompany the style that the game wants to show us and they look very well cared for.
Even some areas have specific graphics, such as the melancholy forest, where we see a dark forest, with bright green waters and many swords. But it does not only happen in the forest, as we can see big changes along the routes and their towns or cities. There is a difficulty improvement in the gyms and some fights, but mostly gyms. This is not a problem either, but it is true that some fights are too easy at least at the beginning and others are very complicated.
