Pokémon we remember
As for the pokémon, we will be able to capture the original 251 pokémon, as well as 53 from the original gold and silver games. Something striking is that it will be much more important to collect eggs, which you will find in the world as if they were objects, and they are the only way to get some pokémon. The experience distribution is based on xy, as well as moves and skills up to the fifth generation. Something that caught my attention is that we will have a new digital type, which would work on pokemon like porygon, something that makes sense.
Reappearing characters
The characters will be gold heart style, which I think looks perfect. The region as I said will be johto, but with new routes and cities. These changes are very enjoyable in the adventure, since it will not be the johto region without more, since we will have many new rivals and events. It will be the johto region but completely renovated, with a new story, as well as a greater variety of pokémon in the different areas.
Most powerful Team Rocket
We will have a team rocket with much greater presence in the story, appearing in the different events included. The elite four and gym leaders have also been changed, with much more powerful teams.
