Expansion of the Sete Islands: New area south of Isla Secunda (Southside Rock) and expanded post-game content featuring a "Sete League"
General
Customizable Difficulty: Three modes available: Normal (classic rules), Hard (fixed levels and no items in combat), and Hardcore (permanent death)
Hoenn Pokémon in Kanto: After completing the Sapphire quest, Generation 3 Pokémon appear on the routes in Kanto
"Fame Checker" System: Completing the Fame Search now grants rewards (such as Castform or Rocío Bondad) and is required for rematches against Gym Leaders
Evolutions via trading are now based on level or evolution item (Prism Scale available for Feebas)
Improvements to Moves and Stats with Rebalancing Inspired by Emerald Legacy
Quality of Life (QoL): * Automatic reusable repellents

Running is available from the start (Running shoes in the Oak Lab)
Training Tools: IV and EV Checker on the second floor of Pokémon Centers; the EXP Share replaces the slot for sneakers

✨ Super Effective (Pros).
- Customizable difficulty with three modes (Normal, Hard, Hardcore) to suit different play styles.
- Extensive Quality of Life (QoL) improvements such as automatic repellents, forgettable MOs and IVs/EVs checkers.
- Expanded content with Pokémon from Hoenn in Kanto, a Sete League and rematches against Leaders with rewards.
🔻 Not very effective.... (Cons)
- It does not introduce a completely new main story or region, focusing on improving the base game.
- The rebalancing of moves and stats, although inspired by Emerald Legacy, might not satisfy all purists of the original gameplay.
- The "permanent death" option in Hardcore mode, although optional, can be a discouraging factor for casual players.
